Dwain joined Cumberland Financial Group in January 2010 and became an owner in 2012. He received his accounting degree from the University of Georgia in 1987 and passed the CPA exam in 1994. He started his career at a large local CPA firm where he performed a variety of bookkeeping, accounting, tax and auditing services. Since then he has provided accounting, tax, CFO and consulting services to hundreds of small businesses. He enjoys working with and training the folks who do the accounting functions at the different companies. He also provides business startup assistance as well as advice to keep companies compliant with local, state and federal government regulations.
